The Illinois Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding problem gambling support and treatment services in Illinois.
If you see the signs of problem gambling, we’re here for you. 24 hours a day. Our caring, trained Specialists will answer your questions and connect you to treatment options. The Helpline also offers information, support, and referrals for people experiencing substance use.
Whatever your concern, Helpline services are free and confidential. Anyone can use the Helpline, in any language.

Resources and information about the Illinois Gaming Board’s Statewide Casino Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (SEP) for Problem Gamblers for casino gambling and sports wagering.
Persons must enroll in the Self-Exclusion Program in person at various sanctioned enrollment sites throughout the state. In addition to Illinois locations, there are IGB Self-Exclusion enrollment sites in Iowa. It will take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete the enrollment process. All Self-Exclusion candidates must bring a valid driver’s license or state issued identification card with them to complete the process.

Brain Connections was created to share information about how problem gambling affects the brain. When people have a problem with gambling, they often wonder about the impact on their brains. How has the brain changed? Are those changes permanent? How will it feel to quit or cut back on gambling?
Brain Connections translates current research into understandable answers to these and other questions in handout and video formats.
