Our Mission
The Illinois Council on Problem Gambling’s (ICPG) mission is to ensure the people of Illinois have adequate access to the resources necessary to reduce Gambling Related Harms. ICPG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and the sole Illinois affiliate of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
IPGGC Preferred Provider
The International Problem Gambling and Gaming Certification Organization (IPGGC) recognizes ICPG as a preferred partner for workshops and trainings in line with the ICGC Level I & II.
IPGGC, formerly known as the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board (IGCCB), was established in 1984 to offer voluntary international certifications. These certifications assure a body of qualified and competent professionals working with individuals with at-risk, problematic, and disordered gambling and their families/concerned others. Certification standards established by the IPGGC represent the current best practices in the field of disordered gambling and gaming treatment.
